At Invention Camp, your child will embark on an exhilarating journey to explore some of the most awe-inspiring inventions ever created and deep dive into the world of entrepreneurship. ‍By the end of the week, they will have developed their very own original invention and even a prototype for what could be the next best-selling product. This camp is designed to not only ignite creativity but also to nurture critical thinking and teamwork as children work on real-world challenges.

Discover some of the activities your child will enjoy throughout the week

From ice-breaker activities to exploring ground-breaking inventions, creating their own invention sketches and innovative prototypes, and showcasing their projects, this camp's all-encompassing format will ensure that your child is engaged, learning, and growing from Day 1 to Day 5. They will also participate in fun, team-based critical thinking challenges.

Camp outcomes

The camp will enhance your child's real-world skills like creativity, problem-solving and entrepreneurship and boost their confidence — all while helping them gain an edge. This will ensure that they return to school brimming with new abilities.‍They will receive several physical activity materials to work on and personal journals to use for reflections.‍By the end of the camp, your child will have also developed an original invention and built a prototype for the same.

What is included?

We provide all camp-related activity booklets, materials for prototypes, and journals. It also includes British education expert-led sessions and daily, personalised guidance from experienced facilitators. Each child will also receive a certificate at the end of the camp.

She said she’s learnt even new terminology which was new for her as she’s asked me a few times what does resilience means for example. Can my child attend only specific days?

We ask that all campers attend for the full week. They spend the week developing skills and ideas, culminating in a final project. For them to get the most out of the experience, they need to attend the full week.

How do you handle behaviour issues?

We promote a positive and respectful camp environment. Minor issues are handled through redirection and discussion. For more serious or repeated issues, we will contact parents to collaborate on a solution.

Do you offer any discounts or financial assistance?

Yes, we have early bird discounts and sibling discounts available. Please reach out to us for more information on financial assistance options.

What should my child bring to the camp?

We provide a detailed packing list for each camp programme. Generally, children should wear comfortable clothing and bring a packed lunch, water bottle, and any necessary personal items.

Do you offer early drop off or late pick up?

Yes, early drop-off is available from 08:00. Late pick-up until 15:00 — no late pick-up for camps running on a Friday

Do I get a sibling discount if I am booking two different camps ?

Please contact us directly via camps@8billionideas.com if you are trying to book your children across two different age groups and would like to apply a sibling discount.
